Stargazer's Delight is Shareware ! You are free to install the program on your computer and to distribute it as long as: - none of the parts are changed in any way; - all parts of the program are kept together (including the read-me-files); - no money is charged for it. If you put the program on a public server or a CD-ROM, please send me a note. You may try the program for 30 days. If you like it, please register your copy by sending $20 US (or 30 Swiss Francs, 40 Deutsche Mark, or 120 French Francs) to: Ruedi Schmid Herrengrabenweg 48 CH-4054 Basel Switzerland In the unregistered version, the sky will be displayed only for a few selected locations. If you register you'll get a key to unlock the program. By registering you support the shareware idea, get informed about updates and last but not least make the developer a happy man. Bug reports and comments are very welcome whether you register or not. If you'd like to pay with a Credit Card, with a Check (US Dollars only), or with Cash in another currency, you can do so via Kagi (sales@kagi.com) which handles my payment processing. In this case, Stargazer's Delight costs $2 US more (totaling $22 US) to cover my fees. Schools or colleges may also buy a site license ($400 US), which allows you to run the program on as many computers as you like within your school. Payment via Kagi: Online: A link on my homepage (http://home.datacomm.ch/schmidruedi) will direct you to Kagi, where you can register online with a credit card through a safe (SSL) connection. With the Register program: Start the Register program "Register via Kagi" in the Stargazer's Delight folder. Enter your name, your email address, and the number of single user licenses you wish to purchase (or site license). Save, Copy, or Print the data from the Register program and send the data and payment to Kagi. If paying with a Credit Card, you can email or fax the data to Kagi. Their email address is sales@kagi.com and their fax number is +1 510 652-6589. You can Copy the data from the Register program and paste it into the body of an email message. If you have a fax modem, you can Print the data to the Kagi fax number. Payments sent via email are processed within 3 to 4 days. You will receive an email acknowledgement when it is processed. Payments sent via fax may take up to 10 days and if you provide a correct internet email address you will receive an email acknowledgement. If you are paying with Cash or USD Check you should print the data using the Register application and send it to the address shown on the form, which is: Kagi 1442-A Walnut Street #392-UOB Berkeley, California 94709-1405 USA You can pay with a wide variety of cash from different countries but – at present – if you pay via check, it must be a check drawn in US Dollars. Kagi does not accept checks in other currencies. If you have a purchasing department, you can enter all the data into the Register program and then select Invoice as your payment method. Print three copies of the form and send it to your accounts payable people. You might want to highlight the line that mentions that they must include a copy of the form with their payment. Kagi cannot invoice your company; you need to act on my behalf and generate the invoice and handle all the paperwork on your end. Payments sent via postal mail take time to reach Kagi and then up to 10 days for processing. Again, if you include a correct email address, you will hear from Kagi when the form is processed. As soon as Kagi has informed me about your payment, I will send you an email with the code to remove the reminder dialog. Thanks a lot! Have fun!!
